A Model’s Life is a layout and content project that I carried out for a fashion magazine. The biggest challenge for this project laid in successfully mixing bright impactful color with an organized and elegant layout design. Another big challenge was the use of a half-faced picture as part of the layout, which was something explicitly asked by the client. I managed to incorporate this image seamlessly in the layout by manually masking out the face and hands in Adobe Photoshop to then add shading back in the composition.
The layout design works well as it is balanced, consistent, and cohesive, without having to renounce its inherent boldness. In addition to developing the layout, I also wrote the article itself.
